Telling and Measuring

 Reflection
I am learning to telling and measuring time.
I was able to know the difference between am and pm.
I found this challenging because it was a bit hard to understand 24 hour time.
My next step is to find a way to help me learn 24 hour  easier.

I am learning to I can write a sentence for every letter of Dash.
I was able to put speech marks and correct places.
I found it challenging because i had to describe what it looked around the house and what was happening around it.
My next step is to try and use more description so my readers will have a image of what it looks like.

Word Buff

Reflection
I am learning to use a dictionary to help me with my answer.
I was able to to make close descriptions of the words.
I found it challenging because I had to search up with the meaning of the word meant.
my next step is try and find more challenging work help improve my learning.

I am learning to identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about, see.
I was able to predict what was going to happen.
I found it challenging because I had to read the page to predict what will happen in the next page.
My next step is to relate to the characters in the text  to understand their purpose

Speech

Reflection
I am learning to write  persuasive speeches.
I was able to make different paragraphs about different topics.
I found it a bit challenging because I had to research and find facts for my speech.
My next step is to put some more detail into my speech and to make it more interesting.

2D and 3D shapes

Reflection

I was learning to name shapes and understand the features of the shapes.

I found this easy  because you just need to say the name of the different shapes
and say that it is 2d or 3d and say how many  edges faces and vertices
are there.

Next time I will try to remember all the edges face vertices.

Measurement

Wanted Poster

Reflection

I am learning to make a wanted poster.

I was able to do a successful wanted poster.

I found this challenging because I needed to make a clear discretion of the fountain and  make sure it was a good photo.  

My next step is to is to make a more realistic phone number and make a better description of the fountain.

Volcanoes Brochure template

Reflection

I am learning to make a brochure about volcano that is in NZ.

I was able to make a successful brochure about how volcanoes are made and etc.
I found it challenging to find different ideas for my paragraphs.Its is hard to look for positives and negative of volcanoes.
my next step is to put more information into my writing and to make sure people under stand it better.

Reflection 

I am learning to use my parts of speech.

I was able to find the correct words to put in the sentences.

I found it challenging to mach the words together some i didn't even now.

My next step is to learn about collective nouns.

Reflection
I am learning about Anzac day.
I was able to complete the whole slide show.
I found this challenging because I had to find a Sheraton letter that includes Anzac day a-z.
My next step is to try and find some better words and sentences.

IALT interpret statistical information and identify parts of a graph.
I was able to put the labels in the correct places.
I found it challenging because I had to answers a few question. 

Next time I will try to think before I do it because  I didn't know if I was doing the right thing.  

All About Me

Reflection

I am learning to write a paragraphs about me.
I was able to create 4 different ides in 4 different paragraphs.
I found it challenging finding different things to put in the paragraphs and making my paragraphs not to big and not to small.
My next step is to put more effort into my writing and maybe find better ideas.

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2019. This year I am in Room 25. My teacher is Miss D'Souza.

I enjoy going to rainbow end.

I enjoy going to different country.

I enjoy going out to the movies.

My goal for this is to improve on maths.
